A good "pool-side book" as jacket says - detective thriller set in Germany over Xmas/New Year 2012.
Writing is on the plain side and translation not great, but interesting plot with twists and turns.
Interesting to have a German writer and story based in Germany to get a different experience and a feel for German life/policing.
Pia Kirchhoff and Oliver von Bodenstein are the detectives.
