Enjoyable, evocative read of life in coastal West Australia north of Perth and then up past Broome.
Not his best novel. Some phrases seemed a bit of a stretch. 'saurian' used for many things!
At times things moved along a bit slowly and not quite sure why.
Some terrific descriptions though of landscape.
Lu Fox, Jim Beveridge and Georgie Jutland are the principal characters.
